Crystal and Johnny are a married couple longing to have children but are unable to conceive. In a desperate attempt to fulfill their dreams of parenthood, Crystal meets Keisa and asks her to be their surrogate. However, what begins as a hopeful solution spirals into unexpected complications, testing the boundaries of Crystal's marriage and Keisa's life with her overbearing mother.
