Merva has been engaged to Ron for more than 26years. She got pregnant and moved in with him; he had promised a proper wedding after the baby was born. But he still has not married her. They now have two adult children. Merva has become frustrated with Ron and his unwillingness to deliver on his promise. She is making some changes in her life. The daughter is now engaged to be married in eight months time. Merva still wears the engagement ring Ron gave her over 26 years ago. Their wedding date is not yet set.
